The famous cheese fondues with Vacherin and Gruyère are both from the city of Fribourg! Swiss cuisine in the city is very well represented in gastronomic restaurants such as Hôtel de Ville, in hostels and cafés such as the Pinte des Trois Canards, where one can enjoy a great fondue or röstis. The restaurant Le Chasseur is critically acclaimed for its raclette.
