This tiny children's clothes shop inspires loyalty from customers looking to clad their kids in high-end European designer togs.
Stepping off Rue Ancienne into this little cubbyhole of a shop is like falling into a whitewashed Swedish summerhouse. Although rather small, this boutique draws a loyal crowd to browse its high-end designer children’s brands for ages three months to 14 years. Sam and Luna is the only boutique in Geneva stocking Scandinavian labels How to Kiss a Frog, and Tina Wodstrup. Sitting alongside those on the packed dress rails are French and Italian labels Thao Van and Magil. Owner Siv named Sam and Luna after her own children, and it’s thanks to her that the shop retains its personal feel – she’s always happy to chat about your children, the origins of the brands and how she makes her selections. And if you ever wished they'd make those cute dresses and floaty tops in a bigger size, check out the basement where the fun range for teenage girls comes in women’s sizing.
