Design

Thanks to its distinguished taste for design, Basel hosts in the heart of its old town a good number of design stores such as Okay Art. The Swiss brand Vitra, recognised worldwide and from which we owe the Panton chair, also has a store at the city centre : the Wohnbedarf. There is also a Vitra design museum across the border, in Germany, at about thirty minutes by bus from the city centre.
