Voted «Gay Capital» in 1992, Lausanne has fallen short of this reputation lately. Most of the exclusively gay and lesbian places have disappeared and have been replaced by clubs and gay friendly bars. However recently, special nights are dedicated to the LGBT community at clubs such as Jungle at MAD, at GT’s or at the Pin Up bar.
