Museums

With its forty museums, all artistic curiosities are satisfied in Basel. The Tinguely museum, the Beyeler foundation and the history museum of Basel are among the most famous. However the city also owns a unique anatomy museum with an interesting medicine related collection. There is also the Jew Museum of Basel, which showcases the most treasured European ritualistic objects.
