There are numerous discount stores and second hand shops in Lucerne. In the suburbs south-west of Lucerne there is a flea market run by the Salvation Army (Heilsarmee) where it is possible to do some bargain hunting. In town, you can also find shops specialising in second hand items, such as Judy's Kleiderbörse or Tootsies.
